I don't personally choose to submit to directories that require a reciprocal link for considering your site. I find that the extra time required to add the links to my sites makes the process too time consuming. I prefer to swap links with this type of directory as part of my regular automated reciprocal linking program.

The advantage of a recip directory is that there are usually less sites listed on the directory. For those who want to add their sites to reciprocal link directories, here are some of the better ones.
