One of the most unique directories on the web. The categories on the homepage are actually branches on the tree. Well thought out and detailed categories. The site has been a directory since the summer of 2007. A listing in this directory is well worth the price. |

An attractive site that has been around for a long time, although it looks like
it was a search engine before becoming a directory. Archive.org shows it as a search engine as far back as 2002. It became a directory in about October 2003. They have a strong review policy. Categories are not crowded, offering
good PR opportunities, although it's alphabetical listings will give the advantage
to sites with titles at the beginning of the alphabet. They don't let you choose
your own title. They offer an $8 submission but their advertised review period is an unreasonable 6 to 9 weeks (no reason for that?)and their $20 submission promises 3 business days. Affiliate businesses and sites without proper contact info are not accepted. |

A well respected and established directory that has been around as a directory since February of 2002. The design
allows PageRank to flow down freely to the categories. I was ready
to rank this site very high but except that I found some downsides
Your title can only contain your business name, which can significantly
reduce the SEO value of the listing. The edits are onerous and if you
don't pass them you have to re-enter your information from scratch.
The site also has a lot of external ads on every page which will decrease
it's SEO value. Deep links are available for $20. Read the instructions
carefully before attempting to submit. |
