A unique site that has been around since at least May 2007. The directory uses an algorithm to automatically approve some submissions. The rest are reviewed manually? Submissions are painless as you only have to enter your URL. They do have a lot of links. It appears that they do go through and elminate spammy sites but it also appears that they should do more.

The directory has been around since mid 2008. They have approved our submissions between July 2008 and September 2009. The site has SEO friendly tiltes for each page but does not have unique descriptions.

This isn't the most powerful free directory
on net but the site has been consistently approving our free submissions
for years. They have approved 5 submissions of ours between March 2008
and November 2009. They use dynamically created pages. The directory has a very striong category structure. A disadvantage is that
they have sooo many listings.
May 14, 10 - We suspect that they are automatically aprpoving sites. A quick review of their listings show some sites in the wrong categories but the general quality of listings seem pretty good. They must have a way of eliminating the editing sites after the fact

Pegasus has done a good job at gaining some quality back links.
May 2009 - They rank #1 in Google for the term "free directory".
Nov 2009 - They rank #3 in Google for the term "free directory".
April 2010 - According to their website, they do not seem to be approving many (or any) free listings.
May 2010 - They are listing less than 15 submissions per week. |
