 Reasons for Not Recommending
sitehosting1.com May 7, 2009 -They have copied their information from other submission services. They likely have no directory submission knowledge of their own. I would recommend that you trust your submissions to a company with more integrity.
Directory Savvy May 7, 2009 - They have copied our submission content word for word from http://www.best-web-directories.com/website-submission-service.htm. We have since changed some of the text. They would score very low on the integrity scale.
Lahitech May 7, 2009 - They have copied our submission content word for word. They even copied our price list word for word.

 

In general, I would not recommend a service that offer more than 500 general directory submissions. There just aren't enough quality free directories out there. For example, there is no use submitting to a directory that has not approved a free submission in years. Google is good at weeding out networks of sites. There are too many networks of identical directories or network with hundreds of directories hosted on the same IP.

I admit that not everyone in the directory shares my opinions. I am not completely objective since I offer a submission service myself, but I am sure that most serious SEO professionals would agree.
